Post, Orange and Tango develop and maintain their own infrastructure of cell towers and there are subtle difference in coverage.

Eltrona and Luxembourg Online are smaller players who have less overheads and can offer same service for more competitive price. In the end they are leasing the infrastructure from bigger players thus can offer same coverage and roaming quality.

However, if you're a power user who likes to stream a lot of video or play online games, you may need more. And if you're traveling outside of Luxembourg, you'll want to make sure you have an international data plan that can cover your needs.

Contract Length

Currently mobile providers in Luxembourg have 2 types of SIM-only contracts:

  • Unlimited / 1 month
  • 12 month
